The Seattle Cascades Welcomes Jacoby Taylor as Guard Supervisor
The Seattle Cascades are proud to welcome Jacoby Taylor as our new Guard Supervisor. Jacobs talent is unmatched and we are excited to witness what he and his team with do with the future of the Cascades Guard!
Jacoby Taylor’s color guard career started at Klein Collins high school in Spring, TX. Following graduation, Taylor continued to develop his education and pursue his passion for the activity by performing with various independent groups including indoor programs The Heights and Axis. He also spent four summers with the Madison Scouts, three of them leading as the captain of the color guard. Jacoby has worked with various programs throughout the state of Texas as a director, designer, choreographer and clinician. He currently is the director at Cypress Springs High School and Willis High School. In 2018 he introduced a new Independent A group entitled “Undaunted”, which has now developed into two groups, UA and Undaunted Open, with over 40 members total. He has continued to be an integral part of both programs as the head director of the Open guard and a consultant and choreographer for the A guard. Taylor continues to reside in Cypress, TX with his two dogs and along with his color guard career, is studying for his realtors license.
