Cascade Summit

As you take the first of many steps on your journey up the summit with the Seattle Cascades, it is time to start your journey. The path to reach the summit is a new path for the 2021 season. This year's journey will be all online and will replace the traditional audition process. Your performance evaluations will be reviewed and evaluated by the Seattle Cascades World Class Educational Team.

When you register to join the Cascade Summit, you will gain access to the Cascade's technique, exercises, and training materials. This process is open to all ages and will serve as a preparation course for an audition for the Seattle Cascades Drum and Bugle Corps.

The journey up the Cascade Summit is led by the World Class administrative and educational team, who are dedicated to the education of all participates in their journey.

Step 1 - Cascade Summit Registration

Cascade Summit is your starting point for all journeys up the Summit! To get started, simply register for an submit an application. The registration fee for Cascade Summit is $100.00. Once we receive your application and registration fee payment, you all will gain access to all of the audition materials for your chosen section, including audition packets, video resources, and more! Even better, we will add you to our private Facebook channels, which will allow you to interact with the staff, vets, and other applicants as you work through the steps of your audition!

Step 2 Video Assignments

The next step in your audition with Seattle Cascades will be to record your video assignments! Details of the assignments will be available in your audition packets. Once you're comfortable with your recording, you will submit the videos to your caption email address.

The Education Team will review your videos and provide a virtual evaluation. You'll receive feedback directly from Cascade educational team, discussing your performance and providing commentary and suggestions for your next steps in your performance evaluations with Seattle Cascades.

Step 3: Virtual Evaluations

After all the virtual evaluations are completed, we will begin sending out callback invitations for a live virtual session with the Seattle Cascade Educational Team. Those who receive a callback invitation will be invited to attend e-camps sessions designed to educate and evaluate your progress through the performance evaluation process.

How much does it cost to participate in Cascade Summit? The registration fee for Cascade Summitt is $100.00. You will receive access to all of the education materials, packets and video resources to prepare for your audition. We will even throw in a free t-shirt!

When are the Cascades Audition Camps in Seattle, WA? All of our audition process will be online via the Cascade Summit. There are now immediate plans for in-person audition camps.

Does member from the Seattle Cascades 2020 receive automatic entry for 2020?

As all 2020 contract member are eligible to return, we have a plenty of open spots that are waiting to be filled by potential members. All sections are throughout the corps is open at this time.

Drum Major audition application for the 2021 Season?

At this time, we are not accepting any applications for Drum Majors. This position is currently filled; however, you can join the Cascade Summit as part of the brass, percussion, and color guard sections.

If I registered but no longer wish to participate, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, not. The Seattle Cascades do not offer refunds for registration into the Cascade Summit Program. We apologize for any inconvenience.
