2010 program announced

It is said that every cloud has a silver lining, that even the
gloomiest outlook does contain hope. The tale will commence with
a classic park scene where everyone is enjoying the shared beautiful
day. That is, until the peace is interrupted by a violent storm
forcing all to take shelter, the day is then overwhelmingly destroyed.
With exhaustion, devastation and such despair, who could possibly
go on…..?
As it goes, the sun burns at the edges of the clouds and reveals
the spectacular silver lining helping some to find enough hope to
help their beleaguered friends. Eventually, the sun fully returns
and hearts are filled with energy. To everyone's amazement, these
times are even better than before as nature displays ones of its
most magnificent reminders of hope, the glorious rainbow.
This epic is set to a comprehensive musical program ranging from
Jack Stamp to Charles Strouse and many other memorable favorites
and bright finds. Costumed in the 1940's, the dress will represent
many types of people enduring these stormy blues. Difficult times
are like dark clouds that lurk overhead blocking the sun and yet
when we care to look more closely, the periphery of the clouds always
let us see the light.
Cascades is proud to present…… "Silver
Lining."
