COME AND AUDITION!
Auditioning is Fun, not Frightful. Many qualified members
don't come to auditions because they're nervous about being
“cut.” Well we don't cut anyone! We want your
audition experience to be exciting, educational and worthwhile.
We encourage every person interested in the corps to come
to camp.
Talent and skills are important, but work ethic and desire
are often more important. There may also be opportunities
you haven't considered. If your first instrument choice doesn't
work out, perhaps a different instrument section might have
more openings.
We guarantee you will leave the event with a full sense of
what the Cascades are about, and take with you a weekend of quality
music instruction, great experiences, and new friends.
Selection of corps members is based on four basic areas:
1) positive attitude
2) time commitment
3) ability to meet financial requirements
4) performance requirements within each caption (musically
and visually)

NO ONE GETS CUT
Before the end of the weekend, you will be given feedback
about your performance.
1- You are accepted into the Cascades and are offered membership.
2- You are a fine performer but you have some things to work
on. You will be given direction and asked to attend the next
camp. The hope is that with rehearsal, you will improve.
As the weekend comes to an end you'll have had an opportunity
that most never have the courage to pursue; you'll have an
idea of what it's like to work with one of the finest drum
corps in America.
Do not stay home! Find out what drum corps is all about.
